Using Hugo for this site

The content management of this site is built with Hugo using a very slightly modified DoIt theme.

I’ve made a few attempts at personal portfolio sites before, but the Hugo workflow has made everything much more enjoyable to update. I’d usually manage to get a site to look okay, but updating always took an uncomfortable amount of copying and pasting, attempting to fake things like “post previews” or “post sorting.” The (likely smarter) solution would be to use a real hosted blog product, but some part of me still wants to tinker around in the background.

There’s plenty of resources available, but I found this playlist from Giraffe Academy on YouTube to be a concise guide to get going.

The CV page takes advantage of a collapsible class, but for some reason the typical markdown collapsible tags would not work with Hugo. A clever workaround was posted by a user on this stack exchange post.
